Installing A Shingled Roofing (Commercial roofing)

Most of the construction work is not at all times pretty easy and simple. It has to have the consultation from experts and contractors, if it is a commercial establishment you are planning to put up. But there are other installations that can be done by you alone. Take, for example, installing a shingled roofing. Though this may be better left to a roofing specialist, you can still manage to do the work by having a complete set of tools to be used and simply following the procedures.

The first step in installing a shingled roofing is to put lines to trace the alignment of the shingle tops. These shingles will be placed above the lines for nailing. The lines have to be snapped across the roof from eave to peak. Tracing the lines can be done with the use of shingle

bottoms or tapes as recommended by manufacturers. When all lay outing is done, the shingles are now ready for installation. It is important to balance every other shingle by 6 inches to prevent from possible leakage when you overlap them and leave about 1/16 inch space between each shingle.
